The 2022/23 season is upon us!

The 2022/23 season is just around the corner and we take a look what lies ahead for the club. The same as last season the club will only have one team playing in competitive football. Sunny will once again be taking charge of the team and they remain in the Thames Valley Sunday Football League. They will be playing in Division 3 and the proposed constituion is:

All Star Football Maidenhead
B A.A. Heathrow
Chicken Ranch United
Datchet F.C.Res
Eutectic F.C
Maidenhead Cosmos
Maidenhead Nomad Res
FC Union
Sporting Staines

The team will be playing out of Cranforsd College for this season and will once again being wearing yellow as their main kit. There will be plenty of cup opportunities for the team as they will be eligable for the following competitions:

Robin Woolman Challenge Cup. (Formally Ken Gomm Challenge Cup)

(All Clubs. 1 team per Club)

Bob Smith Memorial Trophy

(All teams Premier & Division One)

Tony Blay Memorial Trophy

(All teams Divisions 1, 2 & 3)

Joe & Mary Wells Memorial Cup

(All teams Divisions 2 & 3)

Roy Lester Memorial Trophy

(All teams)

Thats four cup competitions for the team, and previosuly the league had run the League Shield for the bottom division but their is no mention of that.

The team recenly had a run out against the BAA Vets team winning 5-2 and this Sunday they take on Sporting Staines.

As mentioned there is a BAA Vets/casual team. Most of the players are Vetsage but there are a few under age casual players. They play a couple of games each season to have a run out and a catch up. It’s more of a social thing but they still like to represent the club and talk about their glory days!!

Good luck to BAA Heathrow (Sunday) FC for the coming season.
